Silvertone World - Amplifiers - 1950s

The 1391 amp was the low end of the super cool 'Phase 3' of the Silvertone 50s amplifiers. 5 watts output, volume, tone, two inputs. Frequency response... well, it had one; rated 100-9000Hz.

Danelectro was smart, they didn't change the innards to the amps a lot, but their designers kept the outer styling moving along with the times.

After the funky alligator/tweed sound bump 133X series came the cool as can be 139X amps. Great look, great set-up... to me, the classics of all Silvertone amps were these 'Phase 3' amps that became available just as rock and roll was really beginning to take hold.
