The 1452 guitar was the two-pickup sibling to the 1451, the
last Dano-made Silvertone 6-strings. The companion amplifier was nearly identical to the 1457/1449, with
tone, volume, strength and speed for the footswitch operated tremolo. The differences were a re-located 8-inch speaker,
and no more grille 'beauty frame.' Sad days for the Silvertone/Dano team, as the
MIJ guitars took over in the F/W '68 catalog.
